SIIG’s CyberSerial 4S 550 PCI serial adapter card is an excellent solution for you to connect multiple serial-based devices to your system. It is designed to add four 9-pin (DB9) serial ports to your PCI-enabled desktop computer. This 4-port serial adapter card comes with four high-speed 16550 UART serial ports supporting data transfer rates up to 230Kb/s. The serial ports can work as either standard DB9 RS232 ports, or can be configured with 5V /12V power outputs for devices that require power such as handheld scanners, table scanners, and POS displays.


The CyberSerial 4S 550 PCI adapter card features IRQ sharing to reduce IRQ conflicts, built-in 32-byte FIFO buffers to dramatically increase data transmit/receive speed especially under Windows multitasking environment, and PME (Power Management Event) to allow device to request a change in system power state (wake up system). It comes with an enhanced bending-resistant bracket to provide a more secure connection to the system, and it works with 32-/64-bit, 3.3v/5v PCI and PCI-X slot.
